No, its not a typo. It's bag, not beg. This is the NetFlix idea taken a step ahead (or a step too far??). Bag, Borrow or Steal is a Seattle start-up that lets you rent handbags and jewelry along the same lines as DVDs at NetFlix!!
I love watching movies; I love the idea of having them delivered to my door step; I love the idea of watching them at my convenience and paying no late fees. So NetFlix works great for me.
I love handbags. I love fancy jewelry. But renting handbags and jewelry used by someone else... I don't know, I really dont like the sound of it. I know that people rent tuxedos and evening gowns and wedding dresses. But that is like a one-day thing. After a day, its returned, cleaned, et al. But a handbag that is rented to someone for as long as they want to keep it and then returned - I dont think its the same as a tux. But then, if you are a brand-junkie and don't like being seen with the same handbag more than once (and dont want to blow your whole paycheck on this overhead), maybe this is for you.
So will you bag, borrow or steal???
